I know it has been probobly discussed already, but i couldnt find any information. So there it goes. Guys, have you ever considered to greenlight your mod? Formaly you would though need a license for the engine, but i wonder if someone actualy asked Relic? There are many mods for games that have become successful standalones thanks to greenlight, and I think that DoW 2 elite has this potential aswell, for it is a game like no other. Especialy considering what DoW 3 is going to be like. Please dont rage if its a chewed through topic.

CoH1 already got its mods on steam

Even if DoW3 gonna take away all whats left from our small community - pushing Elite mod to steam would be great last tribute to all that great work elite mod team did. It will be like memorial for Elite mod! So, i think its a good idea

I think that Elite mode could actualy gain alot more players through this, so this wont be a simple tribute. DoW 3 will be a whole different thing you know. So elite will be a last bastion for those , like me, who love DoW 2. Especialy if Elite team will evolve on whats done even more. Who knows... add tau or necrons? I mean elite manages to balance realy good.

Normally I'd come along with some ignorant remark about "Oh we already know we can't do it" or "I know X wants to do it", but genuinely I am interested in this simply because I don't know what Caeltos' stance on this is.

I have no idea also if it would be a good idea, but I'm curious as to how it would be approached since I'm not in favour of either way.
