Not a balance change, but a visual one possibly for the next patch.

The Commissar Lord was given a Xenos Power Claw to replace the regular Power Fist (not the Fist of Brockus) from retail to give his weapons a bit more flavour and distinction. Equally, I think it'd be a good idea to maybe give him a Chainsword as his starting weapon to further differentiate it from the Power Sword he can buy in T1.

That makes sense.

I was thinking the exact same thing a while back. Not a critical change, but it would be a nice visual touchup.

AFAIK all true swords in the 40K universe, aside from those the orks use, are power swords while all standard cc weapons are usually chainswords, knives, and improvised weapons.

I believe these changes were discussed in another thread (and generally supported). I think it would be cool to add the chainsword as the default weapon.

The implementation of a hellpistol (either backpack powered, or belt powered) was also proposed, and would be a cool addition to the LC.
