The tooltips displayed in the bottom right; How would i go about getting these/enabling them? would be really helpful to have this ingame in order to remind me what opposing and friendly units armour types and whatnot are.

They are part of a mod called the detailed tooltips mod. They had been done for all the retail versions: unfortunately I don't think a corresponding mod has been made for Elite Mod yet, so the stats there refer to retail retribution.

Shame, hopefully someone will adapt the mod to Elite at some point, it's a neat little add-on to help new-ish players such as myself.
