Obviously most people who play HR games also play on annihilate and don't want much of a strategy other than 'spam gud units' and 'destroy bases, lulz'.

However, I actually think it would be quite interesting and quite fun to play some high resource 1v1 games with 250vp limits.

That way you can't just sit there and tech to T3 and spam preds (not that that is ever a good idea, but, this really stops it) since an enemy who goes a heavier T1 will get too much of a VP lead early on if you do that. And so there is strategy to it nonetheless. Wargear swapping on heroes is encouraged more since paying for new wargears isn't such a cost. Dealing with turret spam is quite an interesting prospect too.

Anyway, I think it's a cool game mode. Would anyone else be interesting in getting together and playing some games of it with moi or anyone else?

Sounds like it would be fun and at least worth a try. I wonder if certain races would be at a disadvantage in this mode.

Or better yet. Have the Elite devs reduces the resources from high rez to 1500 500 and have these 250 vp point games.

Sounds interesting, never thought that way maybe you can get faster games and maybe learn easier how to counter armies like say IG vs eldar or sm vs nids
