Adding more music to DoW2

Hey Guys!
Is it possible to add more music in the game?
What i mean exactly is, every race have 6 music-tracks that you hear when youre playing them.
So is it possible to add an 7. track to Imperial Guad or even more tracks? (For Example)

Pretty sure there is a copyright problem. Unless you want to add some royalty free ukulele tunes

Okay that Copyright thing could be a problem.
But do you know how to add music?
Are there some music files in an folder and you can just add an mp3 file or is this more complicated?

The music files have to be in a certain format, but the main screen theme in Elite is a replacement song over the retail version. It is possible to replace songs.

But does swapping the music still allow me to play with other Elite players? I would imagine it does.

Yeah, as long as none of the attribute files are changed - and music files are not attribute files - you can still play with everyone. Just rename the new music file you make to be the same as the old one.
