Dawn of War Codex

Every time someone gets a vehicle of some kind, I panic because I'm not sure what reliable AV there is during T2.

Any help would be much appreciated, as I'm starting to lose hope in this race for 1v1's.

Depends, in general a lasrhino with psycannons inside does a good number on vehicles.

I don't know if it's been changed or not but vindicare assasin 2 shots transports basically.

Got changed ages ago Toil. He does missle tac damage now and each shot has a 7second cooldown. He's shit AV on a race that can't afford to buy such a req heavy and ultimately useless in the big engagements kind of unit for anti infantry.

Just tried what you suggested Dark Riku and it worked.

Yea, thought there was something wrong with him, lol.

You can also try a combination of Psycannon Purgations and Terminator Librarian. once you get the Shrouding ability you can go in and ambush his vehicles with your purgation squad w/bonus damage and infiltration. if you manage to get set up and hit rear armor, a lot of times you can use mind blades and the purgation ability and snipe it by getting a second burst. Librarian also can protect the squad from melee with the bubble thing and synergizes with everything in your army so i recommend experimenting with him.

Rhino is crazy good for it's cost though so its never a bad T2 purchase. Lascannon is good when it hits but i misfire all the time with it, so i prefer bolter turret instead for just a super cheap higher damage razorback. Double purgation also can do some dirty things but its a lot of req upkeep.

In T3 interceptors with their AV nades + psycannons seem to do a decent number on tanks, tele in, throw nade and try to kill the tank with rear armor shots.

It's not the best since you may teleport into your opponent army if you go in blind so open the engagement with the BC and you army and thene tele in the inties.

In T2 double purgs do a lot of damage at this point either go las rhino, dred to contest their melee walkers or just 2x purgs with psycannons.
