I am relatively new to the community but have really fallen in love with the Elite Mod. I have been organizing a tournament circuit for beginners and mid level players. We just finished the first month with moderate success. We have a few new players that have been playing regularly.

I have created a discord server to coordinate the tournament but it is also starting to be a hub for players trying to find games. Unlike teamspeak Discord has an integrated chat feature that acts like a cross between a message board and instant messenger. This makes it ideal for helping to coordinate things.

I would like to open up the server to anyone interested in finding games of DOW period. We primarily focus on 1v1s but there are several players who are interested in team games too.

The FA Nub Club has hit a lull over the summer and I am hoping it picks up now that school is starting up again for people but in the meantime the BMC Discord server may be a good additional resource for new players.

I hear discord is all the rage these days. I'll do the thing.

After 3 or 4 matches on, I think this is a good group. Must be supported.

Together we can make 1v1s great again!

Ty for the notice, since it handles more than just 1v1s.

I might have to come on and have a few games, never used discord before.

Also if 1v1's are being made great again, does that mean a wall will be built between them and the 3v3's.
