Plague Champion

I want to discuss the Plague Champion in terms of balance. Currently, I feel that he is too good at everything, and wanted to bring it out for discussion, so lets bring out the things he has to offer. Please note that I will mostly be referring to his effectiveness in team games, since that is mostly what I play, and while I know balance needs to be applied in a 1v1 scenario, this can be part of the discussion as well.

PC himself:
1) T1 mele counter in terms of plague sword, which wrecks heavy armor. I would like to remind everyone that no other ranged hero has this ability. I would propose this to be moved to T2, and the fist to T3 to be more in line with other heroes.
2) For T1 mele units that aren't heavy armor, the damage over time bolter and/or the blight grenades can easily dispatch those types of units. I wouldn't necessary say this is broken, but I have noticed when the PC purchases the bile spewer and then the grenades, the grenade icon conveniently does not display as a purchased war gear (Should be fixed).
3) Damage overtime bolter. I understand this was buffed significantly in elite mod, but maybe too much so imo. It is very good at picking off retreating units, and early game fighting in cover, with healing support, can easily win vs other ranged units in cover. Not the biggest deal as compared to the other issues, but would be good for discussion.
4) Armor of Pestilence and Pestilence Strike combo in team games is crazy good for capping. Other heroes seem to have gotten nerfs for war gear similar to this i.e. WSE is now knocked back in his shimmering orb / TM shield does not prevent knock back. Again, not the biggest issue, but it seems a bit too good for a "ranged" hero.

Shrines:
1) PC shrines offer an additional ability as compared to other chaos shrines. PC Shrines offer increased healing vs regular worship, suppression, and reinforcing. Sorcerer shrine offers doom bolts (increased w/worship) and damage reduction. CL offers damage buff and bloodletters (increased w/worship), which honestly are amazing in 1v1's as they can lock down an area for a long time.
I would propose that something be removed from the PC shrines, either suppression or reinforcing. I would propose suppression as it would be the least dramatic removal, but I'm not entirely sure if it would be better to remove that vs reinforcing. Also, its funny that you loose infiltration/speed when worshiping other shrines, but get an increase in the basic nurlgle worship with PC.

Chosen Plage Marines:
1) Enough Said. Only 30 power? I understand this costs red too, but this is a dramatically low cost when you really have to take into consideration that the economic impact of purchasing them is quite low for how good they are. I don't think they should be doing heavy mele damage over time either but instead maybe power or regular mele since they should not be a soft vehicle counter (assuming you do not move the vehicle). I hear they even beat vanilla T3 nobs though I've never seen this in action.

All in all, I think the PC is too good at everything. I think moving sword to T2, fist to T3, reducing effectiveness of shrines, and nerfing chosen would go far in balancing the hero. This of course is my opinion and as stated above I am not the most experienced 1v1 player, but I wanted to open this up for discussion. I did not see anything else about this in a thread search (to my surprise), so if I missed it please forgive me.

Gonna ask here.
I can't understand why noxious cloud doing heavy melee damage and not power melee. You can put a serious dent in transports with this infantry blobs counter, yet power armor space marines can just stand in it all day long.

Okay, lets make it more clear. PC is very good for countering melee because he was designed to do this. Do we ever question why Lictor Alpha is such an amazing assasin unit? No, because it was designed to do that. This claming is same with saying '' Chaos Lord is too good for line breaking purpose. '' PC's main desing is very good and should't be changed.

In short, his sword serves for anti-jump troops. Btw, the sword does not scale with level which is a bad thing for it. See, it is not flawless, and remember that it costs 30 power, not something as cheap as Inquisitor wargear. ;)

Both Blight Grenades and Apo grenade needs changes I agree. Reworks, nerfs, you name it. I belive, they are just unfairly deadly for swarmy races. Btw, PC bolter is all he has by defult. He has no threat but the damage over time. For example, FC has battle cry, Warboss has the stomp, you name it. All heroes has thier unique stuff and PC bolter is one of them.

PC is still vunruble to ability knockbacks with his Pestilince + Fist combo. And you should be able to find at least one unit does that in a team game.

I think you are right about the PC shrine, it offers a little bit too much. I would vote for removing suppresion, if the player really cares about incoming melee threat, PC is right there. Primary reason is that PC players builds shrines for reinforcing. It should't be removed.

Outside chosens there's nothing else to touch on the PC, he's fine.

PC Shrines might be a bit too good in team games and CPM are OP atm.

Other than that his wargear etc is pretty fine. Blight nades should go to 25 power though.

Nothing OP about the PC fist most certainly.

Hoe people are still calling for a nerf of the Blight grenade is beyond me. It is on one of the slowest heroes in this game with a pretty clear animation/indication of a incoming throw. The most basic counter to it is: bait it out and kite away. Apart from Chosen Plague Marines and Touch of the Beast, I agree that the PC is fine.

Would like to see a better marker for the noxious cloud pls other than cpm and broken touch of nurgle their not much wrong with him.
His shrines should maybe go up in cost his is the best in all game modes. both bight nades and apo nade are stupid don't even no why that got buff in elite apo is support hero not toss nade and kill/ wipe stuff and pc will he will clearly he need more aoe am I right :o.
