No sounds whatsoever and an akward aspect ratio, but hey, its the first real footage of Eldar and we also got to see a new tileset (location).

I keep loosing my hope about this game.

Eldar late game just makes it much worse to watch.

But liked the Wraithknight at 0:02. He kills in style. 8-)

Maybe it's not a new planet, maybe it's just another side of the same planet. Off topic but this always bothered me in scifi, most planets seem to be one climate ponies.

Well yeah I was just using the term "planet" because some people might not know what I meant when I said a different "tileset"

Intentional design choice to preserve immersion by tying gameplay to specific locales. Mass Effect did it, heck, KotOR did it.

I'm not saying you couldn't improve this, but mixing stuff up "realistically" makes multiple planets blend together in a non-memorable manner. Case in point: Soulstorm. You remember the planets for the faction starting locations. You don't remember the actual planets.

Actually it is possible to remember them since they are basicially Kaurava I, II, III, IV.

Looks neat. Full article here with hero descriptions and unit roster below. Looks like the choice between an earlier game elite hero and a late game super unit is standard. At least that's the pattern evident from what they've shown of SM and Eldar so far.

Personally, I can't wait to see how/if Gabriel will react to seeing Macha again after all this time.

Gameplay looks cool, I pretty much approve of all the direction of what they're doing tbh. Eldar SP gameplay looks tight, whereas if they will transition to multiplayer is still unknown.

Shes a space elf how else would her ears need to look. She needs to be alien and different from humans + they are pretty much cousins of Orks. Plus she used to have a helmet like all of the Farseers in DoW1. Only grumpy Idranel was without a helmet and small boobs (bonus points).

I listened to the podcast, but I never heard that they were going to show off(or introduce as you say) the orks this week?

I loved the soundbits that we've heard so far tbh. The Eldar bells were probably my favorite, but the orks is just like addicting. Really growing on me, at first I was a little "strange, not sure if it's appropiate" .

I think this 3 icons on the right are some kind of teleport for units (like warpgates for protoss)
