Last week i read that DOW is coming to mac computers.

My question is: does elite mod work with mac computers, otherwise i might not buy the game.

I hope someone can help me out!

So I tried downloading Elite but due to it being made for PC I can't open it. Can someone find a way to fix this?

You mean the installer? Not sure how to make an installer for mac, but we could create a zipped file containing all of the necessary files that could just be pasted in the correct place.

I recommend using the ZIP standard over something like RAR or 7Z, also.

Worked fine for him but finding players was a more depressing story apparently it's not compatible with windows or linux users. Good luck

I know this is an old thread, but I'm wondering as to how you can get the elite mod running on Mac.

I've downloaded the zip file provided in this thread, I use WineBottler, but every time I try to run it it says that it "can't locate steam installer"

Any ideas?
