Anyone use the new matchmaking fuction they added in 2.4? Still haven't been able to find a game with it. Are people still using the custom games primarily?

AFAIK custom games are the main way people play nowadays. I have never tried the matchmaking system.

What Oddnerd said. The community is quite small, especially if you are playing in the evening in North America. I don't think I have heard of anyone using matchmaking.

When people want to play a "ranked" game, I believe they use the Elite Solo Ladder tool which is described here: https://dawnofwar.info/esl/about

It's not matchmaking but it will let you play with a way to track performance.

I try 1v1 from time to time. Some times I get games some times I sit around for half an hour...
