DOW 2: Elite Mac Installation

Hey there!
Recently Dow 2 got released on mac, and i stumbled across it on the Apple store and got it from there, then i found out about the Elite mod, there has to be a way to install elite on a mac, and I would be very grateful for any possible help! PS: please understand that I am a complete ignorant of pretty much anything that lies behind the interface, so I really would appreciate details and user-friendly explanations... xDD Sorry to bother and thank you very much!
