Chaplains?

Here's a question - has there ever been consideration into including a chaplain for the SM faction?

Now I'm not saying there aren't more important things that should be implemented first and/or taken care of, but would the mechanics of a Chaplain be possible in the SM roster? Or would it just be unneeded additional flavoring? I imagine it'd be mostly small buffs or maybe an aura for characters on the field and would perhaps add more options for melee oriented units in a generally lack luster T1/T2 melee army for SM (save for a dread or ASM. I'd like to include a librarian but I see them used more often for their abilities than straight up melee dps).

I also bring this up because I saw an incredibly amazing rendered model of the Chaplain via one of my Warhammer40k Cosplay groups, which reminded me that Chaplain's were not a thing in retribution.

There's a Chaplain model knocking around so I'm sure it's been considered already by Caeltos. Space Marines already have a lot of AoE buff/inspiration/support stuff going on though so it might have been seen as generally unneeded as another support unit. Perhaps if it was mutually exclusive with the Librarian it could work.

Shuma made an awesome high-poly Chaplain helmet.

And there is also a armour model too by Shuma. I think is used in the Destroyer40k mod.

Almost all the Shuma mods are here:

never thought about that, think would be awesome.
I guess a permanent inspiration buff like the Paladins would be OP : P

Edith:

Also that Chaplain model looks odly similar to the Legion of the Damned Apothecary.

I'm sure Caeltos could find a way to make it work with the libby.

Orks can field two fantastic subcommanders. Not sure why any other race should be different (although IG and Chaos still need a subcommander).
