Hi all. Seen today that my 3rd level tacs become 1st level sternguard veterans. Is it worth it?
Can we keep the XP progress on unit?

It's intended has a balance feature, sterns (should) be better than standard tacts so having them lvl 2/3 out of the gate would be OP.

yeah. but 3rd lvl tac's damage and HP is kinda better. Not so all-cases-universal, but still fine.

That is indeed correct, same goes for ASM/vanguard, it's also another layer of depth, you have to make the decision if it's worth or not to upgrade.

Well it's also the result of technical issues as well. When you buy Sternguards, you are actually wiping your own Tac Models and spawning in the new squad iirc, so they don't start with any xp seeing as how they are a "newly created unit".

Sterns are worth with non leveled up tacs. Like; using drop pod to bring more tacs in the middle of a match and turning them into stern in that moment is worth it.

lvl 1 Vanguard ASM > lvl 4 Regular

It's tier 3 it's supposed to be stronger.

Yeah, but it's wrong for tacs.
