you want to watch retail games? you can always load up the retail game from steam unless you modified the launch options.

unless you have a copy of the old patch you cannot watch those games. short answer: no, you can't.

Well, you can force them to load by hex editing the .rec version identifier. However, this will almost certainly cause a sync error (unless you are so lucky that none of the units involved were changed between your replay and the last Retribution patch).

In the past there were a couple of small hotfixes that allowed this, but it's a bit unlikely to succeed at this point.
