Yeah this way works nice, all the necessary meta is there automatically + you noobs aren't using my download quota (not that we're anywhere close to limit) + GR gets their attention too.

Yeah that's what I mean, it a public place for all the replays of everyone, retail players included, there is no point in spamming it up with 10 min games constantly, just up the good ones and link all the others in your posts on this site.

I still don't know how to do that. Anyway, here is how I can manage.

I hope I am doing this right and it works. Had a ranked game today and had a couple yesterday against Spartan which he uploaded I believe.

Disqualified, no ranked agreement and no idea who the other player is either.

Tex, click Upload Attachment when you are posting a reply here. It's just under the text box. Then Choose File and Add the file.

Some thoughts:

1. There is a slightly unanticipated hassle with recoding results - we get simultaneous submissions from different time zones (Europe and North America, mostly) and the same players may be involved - and I can't know what might be submitted from the same night a day or two late. So I kinda must determine the UTC time point for each match (as the match-by-match evaluation of skill rating will give different results when games are ordered differently, naturally).

Now the game saves the local time in the .rec file & filename, so it's just a quick -2 or +6 hours thing if I know your time zone. As long as the player posting the replay is who saved the file, it's fine (I can see your time zone from your preferences as admin - just pick the correct one, pls). Hopefully an immediate auto-submit feature will eliminate this later.

2. I'm undecided about matches about random, unregistered players... These single wins vs. unknowns are a bit useless as RD 350 opponents give very little information to the system, and I also have no static identity to link these names to (Steam names and even profile URLs change as you know). I really cba to record and compare Steam IDs or shit.

So I'm leaving these in for now but I might start deleting entries with unregistered players too.

3. The map pick statistic is getting annoying, as we started following free map picks originally. That means fixed and random should be excluded. But this information is not included in a lot of the submissions so maybe I'll just start showing total map usage.

All ranked games are supposed to be made at random. So unless they specify that they agreed on a map it should have been random and not included in the stats.
I don't think total map usage is an interesting statistic.
