i don't have a problem with it honestly, get a jump unit and you counter every one of their grenade launchers, not to mention that also delays their tech significantly

Easy said then done though , 3-4GL ST with gud micro especially with WATH to evade Jump units , can KB them to kingdom come lol.

I would want all ballistic projectiles to travel faster, most of the time it feels like we're playing with floaty plastic beach balls, except they explode when they hit the ground :).

Heretics' barrage does seem a bit too slow. I can understand that Catachans' barrage is superior but IST, not so much. So yes, either speed decrease for IST or increase for tics.

I would like it if GL IST were changed slightly. How about making their GLs do 80% of their current damage but making them only have 2 GL models so that they still had some focus fire capability via their lasguns. At the moment in 1v1 there isn't much point getting GLs as the sarge is already a pretty compulsory buy due to the speed/health buff and GLs cost too much only to make GK even weaker against their main weakness - tanky melee heroes. Once that's accomplished it seems fair to reduce their barrage speed down to that of heretic's.

2x sentinels + catachans + 2x GM, beat that build pretty hard if you are the LG, if you're LC/Inq just go full on with the tanky melee hero upgrades (brazier/rosarius or stubbornness/power sword) alongside 2x sents + 2x gm + spotters. GL spam will fail hard, then you just get ogyrns in t2 alongside 2x missle sents.

Gl's for GK's are that fast to deal with melee. If anything GK's needs to be looked at.
Gl tics have always been fine. What kind of logic makes you suddenly want to buff Chaos for no reason whatsoever like that? °_O

Yeah I am fine with the current state of barrages since as Riku pointed out GK really need the faster barrage to deal with melee. Not sure if IST grenades are actually faster than the Heretic ones though. If that is the case, I don't think that is justified.

As someone who mains gk, it doesn't matter that they don't scale well. You will beat them to t2. Easily. Get a chim or ogryns, and that's pretty much it. And I disagree with your notion that spotters don't scale well. They still shut down every range blob from long range. then they nullify ranged vehichles. It's hilarious against a bb.

Spotter scale incredibly well. Smoke arguably becomes better. Taking away sight from any unit. Incendiary destroys setups unless they move right away.
Or just does a lot of damage on a static opponent or in retreat.

Granted this was in a 3v3, but double sents work pretty well against GL IST spam. As long as the sents are moving they can't be hit by the GLs (and you need to keep them moving, because the grenades will do a lot of damage if they hit), and you'll bleed off models steadily. In T2 you can get the ML upgrade and if a full salvo hits it will practically wipe an IST squad. I don't know how well this works now that the assassin exists though.

I LUV late game spotters. Dropping Smoke on (Super heavy) tanks is great and I'v been very successful using them to defend lets say VPs, atleast long enough till reinforcements come in.

Triple GL ST into Interceptors is the most viable tactic ever

And as crazy pointed out, you are obviously not going to fast tech with triple GL launchers, especially if the enemy isn't a nubcake, because if he's good he will bash you all the game for doing that build in 1v1.
you should use 1v1 perspective too...
