New Player. Much Wow. Much Kudos.

So a long while ago I used to play a lot of Dawn of War 2. And generally pretty much loved it. But as support began to decrease for the series, I found myself drawn a bit away by tons of other games.
I still liked it but.... well just didn't play it as much anymore. I even had a gift copy of Retribution still laying in my inventory since in the end the person I was originally planning to gift it to bought the game themselves.
So for a good year, I barely touched the game. Then an aquaintance I met through a friend invited me to play some DoW1 soulstorm. It was a fun little match, but then we chatted about DoW2, and I found they didn't own the game. To cut the story sort of short, my gift copy in my steam inventory finally found an owner and we've had a fair fun time playing it since.
Afterward, to sate my curiosity I began to hunt for some mods to spice things up and I fell on the Destroyer 40k mod. Which.... was kind of more than a lot of other mod projects I'd found in the the past but not really quite what I wanted.
I found myself checking in case I was using an older or incomplete version(especially with their "Tau" faction being actually a replacement commander/faction for the lord general with very much a ton of remnant placeholder skills inherited from the IG).... I discovered this mod, Dawn of War 2: Elite.
And now I must asks.... why did I not find this SOONER?!
Seriously, much kudos everyone who worked on this. Not only is this the most complete Dawn of War 2(all versions taken into account) mod I have ever seen so far, within the scope of it's intended development, it is also the most polished.
I don't know if that is a result of the "Keep it simple" formula of the game which decided to remain as close to DoW2's original style of gameplay, only further polished.... but much kudos, because it WORKS.
And to boot, not only that but you guys added the Grey Knights in a fashion which I could have never expected(the additional commander, selected from a "Related" Space Marine faction) but also work very nicely and are greatly balanced compared to everything elses I've played sofar.
Heck, just seeing what you did with the Grey Knights make me only wonder what you guys would be able to achieve if you ever tried -another- subfaction within the space marines or another race.
Much rhanks, I never expected a game I had thought "lost" as Dawn of War 2, even moreso since THQ's bankrupty, to feel so alive again.
