Where to save elite replays?

Postby WarCpt » Sat 08 Feb, 2014 11:00 pm

I have searched but cannot find an answer. Could someone please tell me where to save Elite replays as oppose to normal Retribution replays please, cheers.

The replays end up in the same folder. In the same way you have 3.19 and 3.18 replays in the same folder.

Exactly the same place, if you want to view them you will have to be on the same beta/patch as the replay.

When I save one of my own replays in Retribution I can watch it straight back. Also, when I download replays, from game replays for example, put them in the retribution folder I can watch those if it's the same patch. Every time I start elite, only my personal games show in the game history. All the downloaded elite replays Iv'e added are missing. What your saying is that elite replays should be saved in the destination folder via route i.e documents/my games/DOW 2 Retribution/playback? There are also Retribution files and folders, and an Elite folder when you go via Sytemc/program files (x86)/steam/steamapps etc. Which always added confusion. Sorry If my posts are all over the shop, I was out all day for the rugby yesterday with the boys, full drinking session, you know how it is lads :P

Only replays with the exact same version that you have installed will show up.

How do you access the replays you didn't save? I looked in the folder and some of the replays automatically saved in there but I can't access them in game...

it only auto saves your last game, and then overwrites them with your next one i think

Is there anyway to make the game viewable? Because it doesn't show my most recent game when trying to view replays when I forget to save them

Go to C:\Users\Riku\Documents\my games\dawn of war ii - retribution\playback
Find the file named "temp". Change the name to something else.
Should now be viewable in the game.
