Necrons

Bloodravage is back - to a certain extent.
Thought I'd share the good news with a video he uploaded for those who haven't seen it yet.

Hopefully this means some possible progress with properly new models and animations - he is most definitely the master at this kind of stuff.

I thought this would never come around again. Necrons would be amazingly fun to work on, I had some very ... well "unique" gameplay designed for them when I made some drafts for them back in the old days.

Good stuff though; very fluid animation from the looks of it, and with some sounds as well.

Looks like he used Wraithguard animations/skeletons for the Warriors. An obvious choice and it works well.

If they're added to Elite, please don't make them as overpowered as they are still in the original DoW.

I like the models, and the wraithguard skeleton is perfect. However, I always thought basic Gauss Flayers were more like beams of crackling energy rather than lightning arcs, which was separated into the new Tesla weapons from 5th/6th Edition.

I think it doesn't look like a lightning in the vid only because of easier implementation since it's just a recolored fx that is already in the game. AFAIK it should be a sort of lightning fluff-wise. But then again unless they start shooting rainbows it's not really important.

Personally I'd be all over the place if we could use these models and whatnot to work :3
Necrons are my fave (ok... one of the fave xD) race and I'd be happy as hell if we could make them work
