Grey Knight color schemes..

I don't know if this has been discussed before, or whether it's at all possible, but how would everyone feel about Grey Knights being locked into a single color scheme, a-la DLC skins?
I'm kind of sick of seeing pink, orange and green knights..

Please, nope.
The default GK colour scheme could be fluffwise, but its boring as hell.
I love my GK with black and blue main colours with golden inscriptions.

Locking colour scemes never stopped people from re-colouring it via the defaultchaptercolours.file
Also, since the default colour sceme we have right now isnt even correct ( think the 4th colour choice is off ) I'd rather not.

Grey Knights actually had quite a variety in their color schemes through-out history. Originally it was infact Black from what I've read, and it's been ever changing.
So seeing different colored Grey Knights is fair in my book, except for Pink. That just looks dumb.

A lot of times there seems to be "Blood Raven" Grey Knights or other SM colour schemes. Partly I imagine to do with the Bro Cap being the 4th commander.
With the new UI arriving soon (hopefully) I think this will be less of an issue for those that are bothered by it.

Of course they have SM colors as it's a SM hero...

....yes. That was exactly my point.
Currently its a SM hero so people sometimes use it with the default SM colours.
When the UI mod is implemented Grey Knights will have their own separate selection screen and colour schemes so this won't happen so much.

Multiple other colors too? I only know of the old Black one.
Only Grey seems to be the cannon nowadays though.
There are at least two different documented versions of the Grey Knights' Chapter colours. Earlier portrayals show the Chapter's Aegis Armour as being black, with ornate silver gauntlets, shoulder plates, and decorations with the Chapter symbol displayed in gold. The second source depicts the Grey Knights as wearing steel grey or silver Aegis Armour, with ornate gold decoration prevalent on many parts of the armour. The latter is the currently accepted livery,
Their armour is left unpainted, leaving the silver-grey of the ceramite exposed. This tradition is thought to have originated from their desire to lead lives of absolute purity.

The Blood Ravens would like to thank the Grey Knights for this generous gift.

I always imagined Slaanesh being the best to worship
"Embrace your hunger, your lust, your desire. The universe is ours for the taking!"
I wonder what it would be like to be a Blank follower of Slaanesh..all the fun without any of the problems lol

The problem with worshiping slaaneshi is analogous to the problems of severe drug abuse in real life. You become hooked on the pleasure while simultaneously desensitising yourself to it each time you use it. Because of the intensity of Slaaneshi pleasure you quickly realise it's impossible to ever satisfy your desires and you go batshit insane. You become purely a slave for Slaanesh to control. So ideally you shouldn't worship him if you have any self respect/willpower, however that's easy to say in the wonderful world we live in, but given the grimdark world of warhammer 40k I doubt I would stay loyal tbh.

You say that now, but when there's a Bolter pointer at your face at point blank, you might be rethinking that...
