Chaos Raptors jump suppression range

Postby hastaga » Sat 22 Feb, 2014 9:58 am

I think the AOE should be increased to ASM's knockback radius. 65 energy cost is enough of a restriction imo. The minimal suppression range means that when opp squads see you coming from maximum distance, they can easily move away from your jump range or your landing spot and evade the suppression (while ASM's jump would still affect it); not much of 'catching' to talk about in that regard.

and i'm making the about statement based on my memory on retail's ASM jump-knockback range... it could be nerfed in elite, which i would not know. My apologies if that was the case.

Still, I think the suppression radius of the landing is just a bit too small.

It really isn't, plus the effect remains for a moment, which allows Raptors to suppress any unit they can reach in melee with their leap if they do leap right after landing.

Yea having the suppression effect last for a while is great and rewards good micro. I wouldn't change this one at all.
