What do I need to get before downloading the DoW2 elite mod

I've been watching indrid do his casts for a couple years now and I feel like this is a great time to jump into trying DoW2. I've played the original DoW with all the expansions and dlc's so I have some experience. I was wondering what do I need to get exactly before down loading the DoW2 elite mod. Do I need all the faction dlc's or is that all included in the mod.

OK but do I need any of the packs? or are those in the mod? Like the farseer wargear pack or the IG race pack

As stated in the faq, You only need the base game DoW2: retribution, Nothing else.
