Hello...
I (and few of my friends) have problem with mod... It don't show names and descriptions for any new unit/wargear/ability... I heard that reason might be non-english version of game, but I'm not sure if it's true... I have polish version and I can try to translate mod to polish language but I need names and descriptions, even in simple txt file...

btw. I noticed that Whirlwind weapon don't have textures...

i assume you're getting no range instead of text which is caused by not having the localization files. if you go into where ever the localization files are stored and copypasta (or cutpasta) them into the polish folder you'll get english text instead of norange. someone else can tell you where the localization folders are, i forget.

feel encouraged to translate the mod for the benefit of the polish speakers.

shouldn't be anything wrong with the whirlwind; what version do you have installed, are you getting a black box for the launcher or are the textures weird?

I think he just means that the textures for the weapon aren't as detailed as the rest of the chassis. They aren't "missing", just not as good.

Grab the ELITE.ucs and put it into whatever Locale directory you use to fix the garbled tooltips.

I have Elite 2.1 and I see blackbox...
Nice, with that file I can try to translate it ... Is there any chance to publish it here (or even implement it into mod) when I done?...

Oh a black box? That means the model is missing, not just textures. Try reinstalling. Not sure what would cause that, everything should be in 2.1.

For now I will leave it, I need Elite installed to test of translation... For now I have 90% of names translated which is only little part of work :/... But hopefuly I will be able to finish it in few days...
