Not only that having went trough the comment section of Indrid Casts youtube channel, I found a particular comment saying that.
The person tried to play Elite mod but couldn't find anyone to play with, and when he did he was rofl stumped every single time. And thus he decided to keep playing vanilla dawn of war and just to keep watching the replay vods.
This concerned me heavily.
So my suggestion was to make an international timestamps on when people could expect to find other people to play and also some tips on how to name the game they are hosting.

This is the the Timezones with 0 being GMT time and how many hours time difference there is. Some of my suggested Time points new people could go online to find matches for people living in europe and the East Coast of America.
would be.
18:00 GMT
20:00 GMT
22:00 GMT
00:00 GMT
02:00 GMT
Or use EST or any other timezone to make it easier for people who don't know what GMT is.
For people who already are playing Elite mod for a long time this probably wouldn't be of much use.
But for people who are testing it for the first time it is very important to know when to come online to find people to play. Otherwise they might think this mod is dead or hardly alive.
So perhaps on the Steam page or somewhere for the public to see even the site, we could put a general time on when people could come online to find other players.
But these can of course be changed depending on what people say in this forum.

And as for how people use the names of their hosted game it's 3v3 or 1v1 or 2v2 all the time.
We could put a guideline on saying, use Beginner, intermediate, Veteran or All.
for example:
"3v3 all", "1v1 Veteran", 3v3 Beginner" or even "3v3 no main practice" for people who want to test out other factions.
Because I have seen on streams, not naming names, and experienced all to well when suddenly people or I get kicked out because they played bad, because they were Beginner or Intermediate and not Veteran where the host lost because he just joined a random server.
Or myself joining a 2v2 and I lost to 2 people who hosted it, because my teammate bailed out because they were better then us. Or even the one time my team mate didn't bail, his Teammate bailed out because we were being beaten every single time and it became to easy, I assume.
And we should also put a line on the steam page or site that states not to be afraid to host a game.
Because it would be much easier and with the guidelines and new people not being afraid of being curb stumped.
I just want the entry level to be very low and easy for newcomers, because it's always scary to try something new and when you, can't find games, get curbed stomped every single time, get kicked out, only seem to play against veterans.
Well you know where I'm getting.
So hope someone agrees with this, or make suggestion and perhaps put it on the main site or the steam page. Please post here to give this issue some attention.
