Is this possibly new faction or or subfaction like grey knights are to Space marines.

Hmm... Maybe their related to the new IG somehow. Like a new version of a Stormtrooper or a new (sub)faction all together

Miliarum Tempestus are basically Stormtroopers, rebranded, as far as I understood.

(Tempest = Storm > Storm Troopers )

If it is true, we will reskin them in the game?

Well, maybe if someone did a new skin, it could be used for IG while the old one could be used for Inquisiton.

But on the matter of OP, yes, these are the regular Stormtroopers and their new name in accordance with the GW newfound politic of renaming everything that was once known by the name of Imperial Guard.

Yep.... You cant trademark Storm Trooper, or Imperial Guard...

But you can Militarum Tempestus and Astra Militarum (or however the guard are called now)

Would I be correct in saying that Astra Militarum is just the high gothic term for IG? I don't see everybody suddenly referring to them as AM overnight. People still call Adeptus Astartes space marines, and Adepta Sororitas sisters of battle. And I'm far too stuck in my ways to start calling the Imperial guard anything else

You are right, but it's fun to joke around with it.

Anyway I'm glad they finally give IG an High Gothic name as I prefer to use those, and everything having a High Gothic name but not the biggest human force was... disturbing.

Astra Militarum is a pretty good name I think. That would be "Space Military" or "Star Military" I would assume, which fits well with Space Marine and whatnot. Ordo Tempestus... I dunno. For one, it doesn't fit with Ordo Xenos, Ordo Malleus, and Ordo Hereticus, because the established theme is each order has what they hunt right in the name. Ordo Tempestus hunt storms? Are they a band of the Imperium's finest weathermen? It also sounds like it was selected for coolness (and the somewhat tenuous tempestus > storm > stormtrooper connection), when in reality a lot of the world's elite fighting forces have utilitarian or pedestrian sounding names like SEAL Team 6 or Special Forces, which for some inexplicable reason makes them sound even more badass.

If it was me, i would call them "Fulmen Milites" or something similar, as Fulmen is both "lightning" and "violence".
