Recently Indrid and I have been running threads on possible ways to add the Slaanesh Commander to the game, and have got plenty of responses.

The problem is that people want new units, but nobody can be bothered to keep pushing for them unless they think it's already likely to be added. Since Elite was made there's been talk of making the Tau, various IG subcommanders and so many others I've lost track. The interest in various ways of making a Slaanesh Commander shows that we're at the stage of fantasising about the unit.

If people don't actually get together and get behind one idea of how to make it then I hate to break it to you but the result is gonna be that jack shit will happen and we're just going to keep saying "oh I'd LOVE to see this in the game" without actually seeing anything.

There are a lot of people interested in seeing a Slaanesh Commander but nothing is going to happen atm and it will just be another "what could have been", like the Necrons were, i.e. it had potential but nothing happened.

So I'm asking anyone who wants this unit to see the light of day to speak up and not let this one die out like so many have before. Caeltos has, rightly, said he's not making new things for the sake of novelty as that would break the game. This is not just a fluffbunny unit, for god's sake I wrote a mini-essay on how it would work in the game, so please post here saying you want it and get behind the idea so we can make this one a reality.

Chaos needs fourth commander so i agree with the idea if it doesnt brake ballance .

You just spoke out directly from my mind! I agree on this in more ways than one. There will be only two choices, win united or loose divided. As far I am convinced. Chaos needs this to keep game more interesting and adding something that is different. And this wont go only for chaos but also Imperial guard.

New units wont break the game as long as we are careful and create it by trial and error. For no success is achieved without mistakes. Remember of Doom Of Malan'tai came to be? Its the same thing here.

Why not? I doubt a new commander would break the game anyway.

The reason there are no Necrons, Tau or various IG subcommanders in Elite is not "lol cba maybe if ppl keep pushing" or that you didn't start enough threads about them, it's that we have no goddamned assets to make this crap. We have no modeler and no animator not to mention voice actors or sfx. It doesn't matter if there are 100 or 1000 threads or elaborate stat documents about omg terminator trygon lord of change PUHLIIIIIIIZ because until somebody sends us assets for the fucker it is not going to happen, never, ever.

Now the Slaaneshi fucker is slightly different because as you might know there are actual visual assets in existence. Hooray. So keep your fucking pants on and stay in one of the TWO threads already dedicated to it. Caeltos will think on it and if it makes sense we will see how to implement with the resources we have. IF you don't piss us off.
