Tankbusta Barrage and retreating.

Hey all,
yesterday I was playing a game where the enemy had lots of vehicles and was about to stomp us, so I had lik 2 or 3 tankbusta squad and was about to launch the barrage ability on a landraider, which was stunned by my mekboy's mega rumblah. But some other units managed to supress my tankbusta squads and if Tankbustas get suppressed while doing the tankbusta barrage ability, you are literally fucked. You can't do anything until the ability is done, and in most cases it won't get done.
Is this intended? I lost all 3 squads thanks to the suppression. I think it would be fair if you could retreat while doing the barrage.
Let me know your thoughts of this. ^^

Yah...
Tankbusta barrage is one of few abilities in the game that once started has to be finished before the unit can retreat. So if they are knocked back when using it they're usually fucked. Or when the ability is used at max range and they get supressed right b4 getting in range, the first model starts using it when it gets in range while the other models have to move those last few steps while supressed which takes forever and the squad can't retreat b4 all of the models have finished using it or died.
Dunno if it's intended or not.

I don't see how this can be intended to work this way at all

Uhm I don't have a replay but you can easily test for yourself, just let your tankbustas get suppressed and cast the ability, you won't be able to retreat once they started

So after having worked tirelessly on the LA pathing problem where I had to change a 0 to a 1 I decided to take on another big task in fixing the busta barrage. I almost gave up but then lulgrim used inspire determination and I finally managed to drag the mouse and check a checkbox. Here's the full list of changes:
Code: Select all

What do you expect from a guy that can't do basic math...? -.-
You can't have any expectations from someone like that.

C'mon, that was clearly an oversight of a man who got handed remaining support exclusively to him and still had to do his main job.
Not that I condone the deed though
