I played this game a lot ,ı cant find players to play.It would be awesome to get in contact with some noobs or intermedia players who might play a couple of games

Some advises on how to start as a new player.
Firstly find players to play with at the discord channel. https://discord.gg/jKVfpj3
Secondly, give yourself an initiate tag by going to roles channel.
Thirdly, play on friday, weekends and during European night time.
Fourthly, download the newest patch from www.dawnofwar.info forum's release section.
Fifthly and most importantly, add everyone you meet on elite mod as a steam friend.

I thougt It was automatic and couldnt find any games becacuse old version.I downloaeded years ago.

Well it's expected from a mod isn't it?
There is a installer that updates automatically if you want to use it.
There are also many many threads talking about new patches etc

There was actually talk about adding in an auto-updater. But that has not been realized yet. We would need some official answer on that.
For now you'd need to check for updates yourself.They are announced here and in the Discord channel though. Word usually spreads fast.

The auto updater is already active since like 4 months?

I was under the assumption it's still in testing though?
It hasn't actually done any auto updates yet.

It's working if you mean the libertas updater.
It started in 2.9.3 iirc.
Only downside is that you cant run recoloured paint schemes
