Not sure if it's since the last 1 or 2 patches / releases but I struggle against TCSM as OM and I'm wondering how to reduce the punishment. Even 2 squads of them can be pretty brutal.

They feel fairly capable in melee too (CSM in general), so I've tried Interceptors to get in their faces but they're typically supported by Tics or other units.
I've tried disruption with Grenade IST but following up can prove tricky again due to Tic support.

Potentially double SS with Brother Captain and Blessed Ages? Or Daemon Hunter --> Indomitable on SS to get in close and try to keep them tied up till support arrives?
Or Eversor charge, then try and get Purification off from a SS to allow for Killzone activation?

I'm thinking out loud on the above as I've yet to try them. I typically just stand there dumbfounded, not knowing what to do.

Any advice appreciated!

"Don't play OM" is expected in the comments below but would be good for some other ideas.

turret rhino supported by 2x ist and psycannon purgs destroy 2 tcsm, use plasma blast to suppress
2x SS is stupid, you'll get your hero controlled by drain life, chains or by PC
don't try to melee chaos in t2 with gk, your composition should be mostly ranged with some jump squad counters

Just use Smite.

I do find the Rhino can get dealt with from their bolters but I'll have to give it a more well thought out try.

the upgraded IST are good ranged counters and sincen they are LI and have plasma guns which have a huge bonus vs the HI of TCSM they will trade cost effectively if you have the acolyte (due to him buffing their DR). You can also use psilencers which outrange the TCSM and ignore cover, but then you have to be wary of both jump troops (especially bloodletters due to power melee) and blastmaster artillery. The blastmaster will be tough to counter. Probably want your hero for that and some operatives to flank or interceptors to jump it. Jump troops can be counter initiated by libby+strike squad. Sanctuary to protect your purgation and use energy burst to drain their energy so they can't jump/tele/warp out again.
