No, I prefer to put things here.

But fanfiction is a 'post your fan written story' website

And I've read lots of fanfiction from that website; few of which are well written IMO.

Why am I surprised that such a thing exists?

I was actually an active fanfic writer about 5 or so years ago, but I left around the time my favoured haunts become overwhelmed with x-over and blatant author surrogate nonsense. Those elements were always there, but man did they explode in popularity at some stage, don't know why.

I do recall actually coming across some uncharacteristically well written 40k fanfics. One of which had an ork kommando protagonist, and remained well written. Well, by my standards back then at least.

Well I removed what I wrote on this thread since the only thing you said about it was "put it here" (which is useful) and then started discussing MLP, which has no place here, and since you didn't even give any feedback on what i put I see no reason to keep the post there.
