The Most Annoying Unit in the Game

Vote for the most annoying unit (not commander) in the game!

Featuring: Scout Snipers, Battlewagon, Howling Banshees, Rangers, Zoanthrope, GL Heretics, Sentinel, Manticore and Vindicare Assassin!

Hm i like this topic i voted for scout snipers due to them allowing sm to bleed less and inflict tons of bleed and general damage to certain races and also howling banshees not because i think they are to good just for their ability to chase and wipe things would like to see most annoying war-gear in the game and also map XD

Lictor Alpha not an option?

Considering I play Chaos and have been playing a lot of 1v1 lately, Rangers and Scouts stood out the most with all of the bleed and disruption they cause.

Wow, this is unbelievably hard. I have to say either scout snipers/rangers depending on my race, I'll pick rangers as they're worse than scouts in 4/6 scenarios (Scouts are better vs nids/chaos). Zoanthropes aren't far behind...

I would have to put the deff dread behind the zoanthrope though.

For me, it's Whirlwind.

If you haven't voted sentinel you are objectively wrong.

Toss up between rangers and sentinel, went with sent. If Leman Russ was on this list I would have voted for it, it's like a sent but actually impossible to kill

Hah, I like the way you haven't included commanders. When I think 'most annoying unit' the first thing that comes to my mind is the warp spider exarch, in stiff competition with the lictor alpha.

I'm going to go with sniper scouts. I can understand why rangers should be more annoying, but it just so happens to be that I've encountered sniper scouts more often personally, so they raise the blood pressure a bit more when I see them

Aren't the Ork Nobz availabel to vote? tehy are by fat the most annoying ones to me. Most of the choices are only annoying when in numbers of 2 or 3, like snipers, but I'll go for Zoanthrope. It's devastating at extreme range while protected by a sea of bugs.

I myself voted for scout snipers, because they infiltrate, have a grenade and tend to walk in groups.
I put a second vote (you can actually vote twice) on a sentinel which IS JUST GODDAMN ANNOYINGHHHAAAAAAAAAAARGH

Nobz are more like "in your face" unit, they are just strong, not annoying. Well maybe a little.

I didn't include commanders, because I think it's pretty obvious who would win.

I picked battlewagon and sentinels.

Battlewagon because it's 2700 HP of vehicle armor and super speed means you can't stop it from wiping squads. Snares barely do anything against it when it has squads inside - 50% of "really fucking fast" is still fast - and if the deff rolla doesn't get your dev squad, the cannon on top will. I really think people underestimate the guns on this thing (not the mega boomshot, just the regular guns).

Sentinels because sentinels. Super fast and tough to kill in T1, and turns into an annoying super fast artillery unit in T2.

Battlewagon is the biggest BS troll unit in the game, just deleting squads and the only way to force a kill on it is with Eldritch storm.

Battle$wagon is kinda BS but Preds and Limonchello Rosses do pretty nicely against it. Then again Mek and Gay-man-do Nob are pretty nasty against vehicles.

By the way it's hilarious that nade launcher tics are on the list, they might be the least complained about unit in the game. Lol

The $wagon (love that btw) can hold up pretty well against tanks if you use attack ground to get rear armor hits (16 melta dps, 32 with rear armor hits, vs 55 dps laspred). You'll need to repair it for ages afterward but I think it will actually win a 1v1 with a laspred.

You can also put some tankbustas in it.

Why Lictor or Warp Spiders aren't on here I'll never know.

As for now, sniper scouts, rangers and sentinel winning ex aequo!!

I picked the most annoying units from every race imo, and I couldn't think of anything from chaos other than GL Heretics.

It's pretty simple, these are more rare units, I didn't include them to make the list shorter.

Because Chaos is simple awesome to play with and against it.

IMO this list is a no brainer. Rangers and scout snipers are infuriating to play against, and what's worse is that they stay relevant for the entire game. The effect is even more so in stupid team games where it's like, "I will build my basic 3, make sure I have included AV options in hero choice and upgrades for squads, and then proceed to auto-build rangers".

I actually recast my vote after playing 1v1 against Punish. I still opted for Rangers, but Sentinels took the other vote. hate Sentinels.

After a long struggle sentinel is winning the Most Annoying Unit in The Game competition! (as planned heh heh)
Rangers and snipers hold 2nd and 3rd position.

Sentinel driver got a medal. Died next day.

Lmao its Rangers dwag. They peel models off yer HI units especially scouts before u could even react ,pesky nuisances.
Sents comes close second . their killable in t2 . substitute walkers just a temporarily annoyance
