I am putting this here since what I post have NOTHING to do with this Mod. Only existing abilities that I try to improve and try to fix it bugging out. One example is the Assault Marines Merciless Strike. As people know, sometimes this bugs out where the sergeant tried to walk to the cast point which can cost the player the squad. My fix for the ability is where the Sergeant isn't trying to maneuver to cast the ability leaving the rest of his squad taking hits. He just casts merciless strike towards the position of the target. He will not move toward the targeted point. That also means he doesnt need to be near the rest of his sqaud mates to cast this ability. An Example would be a Lictor Alpha Flesh Hooking the ASM sergeant. Normally he would have to be inside a certain area\near his squad mates to cast MS. But with my version he can just cast the ability (say on a nid melee blob) and maybe get out with out too much trouble or losing the sergeant.
And I also improved the Force Barrier, I know its going to get a change, but if you have the time to test this out and give me your opinion I would appreciate it. Activation is the same as normal but almost nothing (weapon knockback) gets through the barrier except on the VERY edges, which I don't want to really fix sense I think its rewards being able to dodge the coming walls.
Note: The Flares are just to help me measure the distances between walls and can be easily removed.
I also might attempt to change up the Phase Shift duration. Where it ends randomly. As in it might end in 7 seconds, 9 seconds, 11 seconds, or whatever seconds. Ill see though.
If anyone had any abilities that seem to bug out quite often I might be able to fix it. The only one that might not be fixable in the Focused Warp Blast on a transport since (this is me assuming) the transport takes on the infantries' armor when they are inside. My reasoning here is that when the vehicle is hit with units inside, the occupants will be the ones informing the player of the damage/hit. I was watching this replay vs Adila and Tex. When Tex dropped his drop pod to reinforce his Vanguard Veterans, they didn't reinforce on drop pod impact to the ground even though they were well in range.
Took a look at the rbf. and the drop pod spawner (in projectiles) didnt have the Sternguard or Vanguard listed in the squad to reinforce. If this was here the game might have ended in favor of Tex.
Idk if this was intended but, I fixed it if it wasn't.

from what you said it sounds like it uses a whitelist for units to be reinforced on impact. changing it to a blacklist would result in a shorter list and wouldn't require it to be updated every time a new unit is added.

The drop pod draws from two things when ever it reinforces. And if its a black list as in unit type of wargear tag etc. that would require more work i think. So the white list would be fine. Plus i doubt Sm really needs any new infantry units in their roster so once this is changed, I don't think it'll need to be looked at again.

So I changed the warp spider's Phase shift ability to end at random times ranging from 9 - 12 seconds with a an icon that shows up 2 seconds before the duration that is randomly chosen ends (granted the Warp Spider has a set duration of [can probably be change to the same random duration too though] seconds of being frozen). To give the ability a small down side as in the player has to watch the ability for the icon so he can pull of a combo. Idk if anyone is interested in this change so ill leave it up to others to see if they would like to see it. And if you do I'll up load it.
And I am going to soon start on a targeting "system" for tanks so they shoot a specific target, if I have any luck I'll post it here if y'all will use it.
