The global is fine, albeit very niche. It wouldn't work on cats though due to how bd their ranged damage is atm. 20dps piercing seems great at first, but their low range kinda negates that + they don't lose models easily.

Because a 25% hp and damage increase per Guardsmen lost for only 125 red (and more when the Guardsmen with Commisar + Sargent are cheap as fuck) it's simply awesome. First of all Catachan ranged damage is very high. Yes they need to be close by.

Lemme get this straight.
You are actually complaining about them not dropping models fast from the IG perspective? :p Cuz a lot of other people would like to see that changed too.

Don't get me wrong, their damage IS very high. 17dps from cats compared to 4dps on GM :D. I'm not complaining about cats though, what I meant was their ranged function is bad for this ability, although their dps is really nice considering how early you get them, the fact that they don't bleed just means that LTTE and cats don't work together.

Also, no way should cats have their model system changed. I stand by that 100%.

Try it on catas in melee. Combined with LC shenanigans. It's crazy :D

I was playing retail yesterday and some poor fool went assault termies instead of ranged termies against my IG. Suffice to say catachans + execute + lead by example = dead termies. Then comes elite with its ridiculous bionic eye and then LTTE. Sounds pretty effective.

Bionic Eye is nerfed in Elite AFAIK. Units take knockback while they are under the effect.

I don't believe they do, although it may allow KB, while granting immunity to suppression and a speed buff+heal, which IMO is far better on units like ogryns who will then be moving at like speed 10 doing 310dps as a squad of heavy melee.
