Compared to that list, my reading is pretty insignificant. These aren't all of them, they are just the highlights:
- The Horus Heresy: (I've read Horus Rising, False Gods, Galaxy in Flames, Angle Exterminatus, Betrayer, Unremembered Empire) They're all good, mostly because of the dramatic irony and technological juxtapostion compared to 40k, but I even found myself liking characters like Guilliman. Batrayer has some fantastic moments, and a rather painful ending, but looking at the course of events and how they shaped 40k makes them so compelling to read. The Horus Rising and False Gods are very interesting, because most of the time there isn't any fighting, it concerns more the uncovering of the warp for Loken, revealed secrets and the fundamentalites of mass faith and it's inception, unfortunately Galaxy in Flames is a bit of a let down.

- Desert raiders: It's about two rival clans of Tallarn stuck on a desert world with some perpetually-pissed-off Commissar, and the clans hate each other, but have to work together to fight a Tyranid invasion. It's a tale of heroism and sacrifice, and outright awe when they go into the Tyranid ship. Of course it being 40k and not about Space Marines, it's properly grimdark, there is no happiness in this book and if you want to know what happens when fleshboring maggots open above Scout Sentinels, this is for you. Also the ending is rather ironic.

- Blood Angels Omnibus: Don't touch this with a dozer blade, it's all heresy, even for 40k it seems contrived, from the very opening battle it sets the scene of madness and stupid heresy that is never fully explained drawn together very poorly. It was James Swallow's first novels for Black Library, I hope he improved.
The internal battery has run dry, the game can now be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur.

Horus Heresy series. On the last chapter of "Nemesis" right now witch im going to read today and go on for "Prospero Burns" next.

And yea, love 'em. Specially first 3 books, "Fulgrim visions of treachery" and "Legion". "The Flight of the Eisenstein" was a bit boring and "Battle for the Abyss" was a pretty silly (few ultrasmurfs kick-ass retarded WB) but still funny at some point

I hear you, but still kinda funny on an ott stupid kind of way, unlike the Dawn of War books which are basically bad eldar/sm luv fanfiction. Yes and I might spoil a bit now, but Gabriel Angelos has the hots for Taldeer iirc.

I have 50-60 novels if you include those within omnibus editions. Not read for a long while now (over a year) and about five of them lay unopened. My favourite author is Dan Abnett, favourite books are his Eisenhorn series.

Four Blood Angels capture an orbital battery and blast a ship out of the sky, little Blood Angle dude's backpack pops off and wings grow (even if it's Chaos it's funny), The entire Blood Angels chapter almost devours itself and Mephiston nearly turns to chaos. So yeah, pretty OTT :P

Read around 15 of the horus heresy so far just read tales of heresy which i was pretty blown away by. Just bought my next 4 which are Horus Heresy 6 - Descent of Angels which i skipped but will now read as was told isn't about horus hereasy but before it and all about dark angels. Fallen Angels,Nemesis and Prospero Burns. Think i love the most is seeing and reading about Karn, lucius and abbondon etc and seeing how they were before becoming the chaos champs. Think 1st heretic and Fulgrim are my favs so far.

Horus heresy is a pretty awesome series.

The first two of the Mechanicus trilogy by MacNeil (Priests and Lords) have been great as well.

Damn, if you get bored of non stop Marine and Guard POV (not thats that is bad)- books featuring the Mechanicus in depth have been pretty high quality: Titanicus and Mechanicum are the two that spring to mind.

But the Eisenhorn and Ravenor omnibuses: holy shit those were good. Almost like quasi action/scifi detective fiction with great characters.
Ring ring. Call Da Boyz!
Theory.
I have never played vs a human......
b-b-b-but I watch 100s of casts.

Nice list max and i skipped decent of angels as not huge fan of sm but i picked it up and found it to be very good with some nice background and is settings the stage for the big (spoiler) civil war on the dark angel home-world during the heresy. Trying to get PROMETHEAN SUN and AURELIAN but are hard to get and cost a bit more than i usually pay for a book tbh
