Hey people, just found out about this mod, and I gotta say - it looks awesome.

Was playing alot when the original DoW II hit, up untill that first big patch that changed the gameplay completely. Stumbled across Red Rupees casts and got hooked right away. So just got a few basic questions for all of you.

First off, is Retribution the only expansion I gotta buy to be able to play, or I gotta buy the whole bundle of expansions?

What's the player base like? Any numbers?

How does matches work, is there a matchmaking system in place or you hook up in lobbies?

Is the gameplay more towards vanilla, or after the big patch? If anyone even remembers the difference these days, haha.

Yep, all you need is Retribution.

It's anywhere in there, really. And that number is split between retail and any mods. It's hard to know exactly how many people are playing the mod, but there are generally plenty of games to be found during European evenenings.

How does matches work, is there a matchmaking system in place or you hook up in lobbies?

There is matchmaking, but most people tend to just do public lobbies.
