So as some might know I am creating (slowly) a mod. In this mod I have created a few new points. One of them USED to make taking territory near it harder by reducing enemies capping rate.
However I decided that this was kinda stupid so I decided that instead of just generating red the point can also convert resources into either power or requisition.
My question is what exchange rate should I go by? Because at the moment I have I set like this.
Spend 50 red for 80 requisition. (0.65 to 1)
Spend 50 red for 15 power. (1 to 0.3)
Spend 100 requisition for 15 power. (1 to 0.15)
Each of the above are abilities from this point and they have a cooldown before another exchange can take place and they all have shared cooldowns as well. But I am curious what other people think would be a good idea in terms of trading in resources for another.
P.S. Before people say what about trading for power for requisition, I didn't want to add too much requisition trade because then late game upkeep wouldn't really matter because the player incontrol would constantly trade in for requisition and offset the con of a large army, being high upkeep. But that doesn't mean i don't want people to have large armies. I do which is why I added supply lines, but that's a different discussion.

I always wanted something like this. In late game you have very low req but too much power at some point. This will make power bash in T3 a thing.

Think I might add trading power for requisition actually.
But i think a good decision in this would be making these trades cost more and you get more in return. Because then say you are in t3 and running low on req. You trade in a large amount of power for req but then you find yourself needing that power. Kinda want to add a bit of consequence in trading in resources. ATM with the values i have above there isn't much downside to it. So the new abilities will do this:
Spend 130 red for 25 power. (1 to 0.2)
Spend 130 red for 150 Requisition (0.83 to 1)
Spend 200 requisition for 25 power (1 to 0.125)
Spend 125 power for 200 requisition (1 to 0.625)
And with this increase I am going to increase the cooldown between trading to 100 seconds.
P.S I will make a small release (hopefully soon) so people can help me balance it a bit. Caz atm I am fairly sure its is bonkers. I will also attempt to create a change log. But i have no confidence in that since that's going to take a LONG time.
