Double Noise Marines

So, i read about double Noise Marines and i tried/create that build.
I had so much fun, and i won too.

Did some pro ever tried it?
It's viable outside beginners?
What races do you think is good against?

For now i tried it like this, with Chaos Lord:
    CSM
    Node
    Insta-triple-gens
    Noise Marine
    Then Aspiring Champion or Wargear
Second Noise Marine as soon as it is possible
    ???
    Profit

It leaves me with one less unit in the first engagment, but with the CL i manage to stand the ground and even win.
The superfast triple gens is very risky.

In Tier 2 i can easily put double blastmasters for some good AV and AoE, covering with Bloodletters the lack of Cacophony to stand against melee and jump units.

Do you have any idea how to make it better?
Do you think is just a funny build but nothing else?
I had fun, but i don't know how good it can be against good players.

Unfortunately i don't have the replays.
Everytime i end a game it takes a lot to load and i find myself into the room for the next game, with no time to save them.

Indrid has talked about his like for double NM vs nids/orks in some of his casts.

The biggest problem with your build would be double suppression teams, or even just one suppression team + 2 ordinary ranged squads, while the foe fast-techs to a chim/razor/falcon/deff dread/tg

Works vs nids, avoid it vs orks, lootas and wargear on any of their heroes, but especially the warboss will rape this build.

Could also work vs tm/mass scouts - tacts.

Tab out of the game and go to C:\Users\Riku\Documents\my games\dawn of war ii - retribution\playback
Search for the "temp" file and rename it, your last replay is now saved.

Oh god, I've made it contagious :o

Anyway, like I said the guy I know did it as CL vs IG. As I also said, one suppression team shuts this down very hard even with a CL. It also leaves you with pretty poor scaling AV. Blastmasters are nice and all, but a walker is still gonna ... walk... right through it and you don't have a drop of AV which basically requires a walker purchase of your own imo.

It can work, but there's some obvious obstacles imo.

It's really fun in a team game if you are alongside another player to make up for your weaknesses. Just tell them first. If you are on the "solo" lane it's very risky.

I think the best way to exploit noise marines is to use them along side the Chaos Lord (I imply his worship). They really disable anything swiftly closing the distance and can chain knockback so nothing but the Chaos Lord stands on his feet. And if they have problems making an impact in later tiers you can always turn them into an artillery piece. I only wish they fired as realiable as the HT's bioplasma does at the moment :x

I saw Caeltos streaming yesterday.
He did Double Noise Marines into double Blastmaster in Angelgate.
It was glorious.
