Playing retail with elite installed

Is it possible? Are they different shortcurts, or does it overlap? I just bought dow2 retribution and I wanted to install elite mod, but don't know this. Thanks in advance

I mean if I can alternate without reinstalling etc, as I am fully alíen to this :p

Yes it is. Use the shortcut provided by elite mod to load the mod, and use the steam shortcut to DOW II retribution to play vanilla.
