Mapping: How do I find + use light objects?

This isn't a question about the big light balls used to illuminate areas, I already know how to use them, but I notice a lot of people use various coloured and shaped lights in their maps, like so:

If I am right, these can't be found in the world builder but can be stamped from other maps? I've tried stamping before but really have little clue as to how to use the tool? Could anyone direct me on how I could lift these lovely little lights for use in my own map?

Thanks.

You stamp the markers, put them on your map, go to the little red flag thingy in the tool bar, go to action markers and start or restart cant remember and i also dont remember if you have to select them or not, but that's how its done.

Never actually figured out how to use the light objects. I would use them and changed to color of the lights but i wouldn't see a difference in the map. Just a glowing red or white ball.

Another question of mine since we are here on the world building is how do you make use of the roads? I tried to use it to make a road but all i would get is those markers. And when i tried to assign a texture nothing would happen.

@Max Thanks

@Black Relic You need to bake lighting in order for the globes to actually shine on anything, it takes time though so best to bake when you are completely happy with all the lights.

And are you talking about splines? They had me confused at first, all you need to do to create the texture is press enter after putting down four or more positions.
