That has never been possible. I've never found a way to do it at least.
I would be very happy if there is a way to do it.

it's possible, the badges will only appear for you tho, for everybody else there will be a pink square

I didn't know about the "for everyone else" portion. I thought it would have worked similar to how regular badges are. That kind of sucks hearing and knowing that now ): Was looking to figuring out how to change it over the holidays.

If we include the paint job & badge in the mod then yes. Otherwise it won't work (as you're using a pre-made army, the game assumes everyone else already has it, so there will be no downloading).
