New to the mod, any strategy guides out there

I have read the change log but was wondering if there were any useful guides. Thinking about like if there are new build orders, etc. I mainly play Eldar, SM or IG.

Also I find games by asking in chat or hosting my own right? Matchmaking doesn't work with the mod?

Yes; your best chance is to just open / join public games and to join the steam chat to find other players.
