New Player Having Technical Difficulties

Hi everyone,

Today I downloaded the most recent patches of elite mod (I had played a little back in 2.08) and installed them. The program seems to be working fine, and the most recent version of the game is displayed on the title screen (2.10), but when I go to join any public games, they're greyed out for me. Similarly, when I host, other people are unable to join my games. Can anyone help me out? I'd love to get back into the community!

Not sure what would cause this if you have the latest version. Are you sure you have 2.1 and not 2.0.10?

That might very well be the problem, I had assumed that the 2.0.10 was the most recent update because 2.1 was listed as a beta, thank you Indrid, your gamecasts are legendary!
