Make the Early game count, there is nothing the eldar can do against sents, and they lose models very very quickly so force his hand, when T1.5 hits and double rangers/shuries and other combinations of that is present, the strategy swifts from aggressive to defensive play, they can't really outdamage 2xgm 2xsents repair rate and they will still bleed alot and quickly, what you want to do is just to bleed them abit and force their units off the field 1 by 1, while keeping pushing back and forth for repairs alternating your sents if possible, if your micro is good you will not lose them, at this point you will have a pretty big power advatange, since you won't even need a t1.5 maybe just spotters OR catas if they get shees in addition of what they have already but those 2 aren't even necessary.
In t2 the choice is quite obvious, get a manticore.
If you feel like your lead is bigger go for a fast chimera if not manticore into AK stormtroopers and then wargear for your hero to control your opponent and WGs if needed (pyre-refractor on inq and the various wargears on the LC, whatever you want.) A lascannon purchased in T2 or sents missiles or a a good pathblock with manticore shots/hero wargear is an easy way to get rid of a WL or falcon.
Then T3, and generally leman spam with a bunker in a position not reachable by arty is the ez way to go.
Then the Lord General is something on his own, with good usage of move, move, mve and the medikit you will be able to easily wipe any shurken/rangers you see using catachans.

Spotters to hard counter the wraith, and don't push up into the shuriken. As it's been said, huge change from offensive to defensive play. I find that against eldar, you basically want to make sure you dont group up any of your units where at all possible - too many aoe solutions to IG problems. I find the inquisitor is also nice in terms of helping against eldar vomit - if not at the very least, to control anything that might catch you off guard in a quick moment's notice.
Also, in T3 never go for a BB under any circumstance against Eldar. Even if you think it's a sure-fire bet, if eldar want to take down a slow moving vehicle like a BB, they will. And they'll have several means of doing it. Leman's are your friend if you're looking for something with fire power and mobility.

Here is a better bet: build Karskins if you somehow manage to get T3. They eliminate every single infantry unit eldar can field, and they can pew pew down heroes quick time. The plasma upgrade allows them to counter wg or the avatar, and their grenades generally allow for good escapes or victories against banshees. All other infantry will be defeated in effortless fashion.

But they really do help when you are up against a level 6 jedi warlock and a level 3 shielded autarch capping your shit and you can't force them off because your tank isn't really providing the anti-hero dps that you need.
Anyway, yes I agree Torpid, karskins are crazy. I watched a cast the other day where I wiped Mathis' painboy with two bursts from a level 1 karskin squad.

Levelled AK stormtroopers already cover that place, and they are always good, high dps, infiltration, nades, and only cost req.

Kasrkins are squad deleters, and that's in 1v1. In larger gamemodes where fast-teching and getting them in pairs is viable if you have strong allies, well then they just go batshit crazy, dealing insane amounts of damage on retreating units and easily countering avatars, GUOs, etc..
My biggest problem with them is they basically do the jobs guardsmen and Stomtroopers do, but better. They feel (as they were designed originally) like what could be an expensive T3 upgrade for guardsmen shoehorned into a T3 unit.

AFAIK, initially Karskins were planned to be a Guardsmen T3 upgrade, where they obtain fucktons of firepower but lose they repair/cover build abilities.
Then, Caeltos decide to create them as a T3 unit. Can't remember why.

I would actually be interested to hear more about that. Seems like it would have worked like Sternguards do now.

I hope this doesn't count as a necro, but I was talking to crew the other day about this. Does Move^3 stack with Stand Firm?

just checked, yeah it does. move move move also would stack with incoming, so you can get either speedy suppression proof buff or speedy knockback immune buff.

Hence why it's fun to play as LG.
IIRC, some of LG buffs like Stand Firm (The one which reduces suppression right?) may work with Allied units though I may be wrong here.

Move, move, move + incoming on Ogryns can be pretty annoying to deal with.

Forget Ogryns! Catachan power melee "jump" troops incoming!
