Modding Question

Hello, I love your mod and I've played with a few of my friends in private matches, however we really just do co-op botmatches for fun usually and we were wondering if there is anyway to mod the game ourselves to have an increased population cap at. I'm not asking for anyone to do the work for me, but if someone can tell me how I can do it for myself and them. We wanted to switch from playing Destroyer mod, which had around 250 popcap, to this, since your mod is more stable, and frankly more appealing.


Any help would be much appreciated, and again thanks so much for this awesome mod. :)

We have had someone ask this in the chat before, maybe it was you. But to reiterate, if I was in charge of the mod I would say "no". The mod is a balance mod for competitive pvp play where raising popcap defeats the balance that is imposed by it's changes.

Maybe I am too harsh and restrictive. After all it isn't up to me. :D

Follow that - select elite as the .module file you base the mod off rather than dow2

Share it between your mates but don't release the mod to the public.

Thank you very much for the information, I'll make the changes to our games and we'll keep it to ourselves. :)



Oddly though I've got it to allow 200 popcap on all races, but I no longer see the Grey Knight Brother Captain available to play Grey Knights. Did I possibly do something to keep me from playing them?


The last version I did play them was before 2.3, so I hadn't even checked to see them after I downloaded 2.3
