Inspire Determination, Loyal to the End, on Cats
I have been playing around with this lately and find it VERY powerful, especially with a Chimera around. I was playing a game where cats where able to take out a squad of nobs in melee combat (or at least greatly contribute to their down fall) while under these conditions.
All i request is the opinions of other people who have tested this out. And if you haven't test it and post what you think. Tanks

yeah, it's an amaaaazing combination. Really really strong. I often use inspire determination on ogryns, that's pretty freaking hilarious too. 240HMDPS, ~1.5k SHIHP and with 11.5 speed+suppression immunity, knocking back anything that comes nearby. Shame LTTE doesn't do much to aid ogryns due to their low model count. However, precisely because of that a commissar nearby with aura of discipline will make them even more tankier AND if you use lead by example you have a speed 8.5 LC running alongside them buffing their damage even further. Pretty lulzy stuff.

If you haven't seen the old bionic eye you have seen nothing.

Re: Inspire Determination, Loyal to the End, on Cats
Inspire determination is so good, but for a reason. You pay out of the nose for that and if you have managed to be in a position to use it effectively more than once or twice in a game... good for you bud.
I'm still having a really hard time winning evenly matched games with the LC, let alone having the luxury of buying super awesome T2 wargear that doesn't necessarily contribute to AV.
Would love to watch some LC replays if you guys have some though!

Here's one. Not the best, but a decent gameplay. The whole thing that I did at the start by rushing the power farm epically because I thought my foe was an HT and not an RA...

Yeah LC has some ridiculous buffs if you can dish out the requirements for your catas. And with things like Lead by Example, I wouldn't be surprised if you could get close to 200% dmg increase in the most optimal situation (i.e having the energy to both execute your squad and activate Lead by Example as well as get in a few stacked buff hits in succession).
You can seriously fuck up asm with cata's. Wait for the jump, execute a cata and throw out your LbE, and watch as they either melt in 2-3 seconds or run crying to their chapter master.

Noob Question:
LTTE buffs is only applied when a unit starts losing model and not when they've already lost models right?
Example
A 12 GM squad under the affects of LTTE has their Damage Output and Health increased by 25% when they lose 1 model, down to 11.
A 5 GM squad under the affects of LTTE has their Damage Output and Health increased by 25% when they lose 1 model, down to 4.

Yea, when they start losing models.

Which leads me to my next thought:
I wonder if the buff will proc if I execute one of the members? That way I will instantly have 11 GM's with +25% hp and a huge damage bonus from whichever execute variant I used.

Pretty sure it does.

what is the damage bonus from LTTE? I know that all executes offer a 100% damage increase.

25% Hp increase and 25% Dmg increase per model lost

Re: Inspire Determination, Loyal to the End, on Cats
I don't get the point of this topic. Just like saying the damage resistance global and heal of Apo is very strong on ASM.
Re: Inspire Determination, Loyal to the End, on Cats
Well, I just did the combo yesterday and it worked beautifully, which again, leads me to my next thought lol.
The T1 armor allows for very rapid executions. Having a chimera nearby and popping off a few models very quickly would allow for a 100% damage increase + 50% or more damage increase, + 50% or more hp per model.
I gotta try this shit out!

Good to hear :> I think this kind of stuff would make me want to try out the LC instead of doing nothing but Inq.
Re: Inspire Determination, Loyal to the End, on Cats
lol does the 100% damage buff stack with each execute?

Surely, surely even Relic weren't that stupid...
Unfortunately I can't say for sure. Because I've not tested it and I don't trust Relic.

Well, it looks like the modifiers aren't exclusive, so...
Re: Inspire Determination, Loyal to the End, on Cats
I tried stacking executes and it didn't work. This was quite a while ago.
I wasn't meaning that I would stack the execution buff though (because I don't think you can, I'm pretty sure it just resets a timer or something). I was meaning that if I can quickly execute a few GM's, my remaining GM's will start a battle with ~+50% per model and ~+150% damage.
That gets me super excited lol!
I'm also now thinking of wiping commanders with 1 volley from my karskins.

Melting commanders with Kasr is a beautiful thing - I've done this a few times :p

I remember the good old days of executing catas with inspire determination and the fist of brockus to deal with assault termies... good times.

People still do it and when it happens, it definitely is a beautiful thing.
