GK Inquisitorial troopers spam

As I play public games with Elite, I've seen something that worries me about GK: players dont even create Strike Squads, nor any other unit from T1, they just create squad after squad of Inquisitorial Stormtroopers. They are supposed to be the backup and support unit but they've become the GK standart unit.

I don't think that's right. They deal more ranged damage than the Strike squad themselves, more than SP scouts, more than Guardsmen...

Would it be very bad if the IST rifles dealt 13 damage, and the Strike Squad's storm bolters where raised to 16?. I'm far from knowing about these things but the idea is making the Strike Squad a handy choice that's nor so overwhelmed by the IST

Spam is already getting nerfed with more expensive sarges.

Double strikes are decent, will be better next patch.

It's fine as is.

Sod there is a replay of ace suing 2 ss on crazys channel and i think he does a great job tbh. then ace can generally do well with whatever lol.
