Just because I rarely make a post doesn't mean I'm not on, Swift. I'm always on. And I'm always watching. Always. Watching.

What is the quantitative guideline in terms of hours? I would happily enter if not deemed too experienced. I am yet to participate in a tournament of any kind.
edit: soz I was lazy and didn't read properly, saw 500 hours now. Is that a max cut off or a round-abouts reference?

We are not ground at 500 hours, but I'm afraid since the last time I shooed you away for being too good, you can't join, sorry.

Have you yet had a game in which you actually do sweat? I used to get them so often back in the day. Can't seem to get them in team games though (which is mainly what I play now) presumably because the pressure is shared. And it's just simpler so less need for thinking.

I have had that on more occasions than I would care to admit. But usually not while observing

And yeh I think its just in 1v1 your brain is using up so much more of its cognitive resources because it is 1 more micro intensive, 2 you have to consider a larger area at all times and 3 there are more calculations you have to do.

I get all "vomit I my sweater already, mom's spaghetti" almost everytime I play against a 1v1 against a good opponent. To memory, the last time I got that was vs both Nurland and Stoned_Elf at the big tourney qualifiers a couple months ago.
I plan to participate if I could, but the keyword is could. I'm technically free that day but I have guests over and I don't know if I'll manage to slip out long enough.
I'll sign up now just to be ready if I can

370 hours on record for this game, mind this is spread in bursts and not representative of my skill as the last time i played not counting acouple games last week(vs bots mind you) was nearly a year ago i believe.
im registering knowing i might not make it, i live in the states so the 20th/21st is a BUSY time for me.

We will just give someone a bye when randomising the placements, unless someone comes along who is really sure they want to be in.
EDIT:
The final brackets have been decided and can be found at this link:
http://www.dawnofwar.info/index.php?pag ... ents/BT-5bA bye means that the player in that bracket gets a free win, so Intense Fajita goes through to the second round automatically. All places were randomised, if you think it is unfair you can argue with random.org or if you think it is really unfair you can argue with me and I may take pity on you.
Player listings can also be found here:
http://www.dawnofwar.info/index.php?pag ... ents/BT-5pHeroes can be used in any game, you must say at the start which you are picking with the player in the top bracket choosing first and then the winner of the previous match picking first after the first game of each match.
From now on, you tread the path of the heretic. Please the Gods, for there is glory to be won! (+ gaemz)

Remember, kids, the tourney will start at 10 AM PST. So be sure to figure out the start time in your correct time zone. Players should be in the chat room 15-30 minutes before start time so we can pair up the players. And be prepared to put in a full day of gaming.
