Never heard of it

Uhm... almost... almost.
Meh, no.
Why Street Fighter when there is the Samurai Shodown series that is far superior? Still no to both.

 Definitely no.
Strange that you didn't ask about FFVII.
It's usually the first people think about.
I just don't like the characters, clichè, exagerations, the situations and atmosphere the japanese seems to like a lot.
I don't. I hate them.

Mainly just games that I've played and thought were at the very least an 8/10 (so excellent).

Dark Soul is a game that became famous because it's a hard game in a world of "everybody win" games.
I like this, good games like Skyrim were deeply ruined from the easiness, but difficulty alone it's not enough for making it a good game.
Sonic and Mario are classics, i don't like Sonic, but i must say that Super Mario 3 is indeed a very good game.
It's raw and so it doesn't have any of the typical weakness of modern japanese games, and so, yes... touchè. ^^
I don't like Resident Evil.
I believe Silent Hills is better, and the best Silent Hills is probably Downpour. For me at least. But Downpour is made in Europe, so...
Just so you know, my favourite games are Daggerfall, UFO: Enemy Unknown, Vampire: Bloodlines and Max Payne 2, and i still play them from time to time.

Oh no you didn't. You just didn't say that you don't like Sonic, now did you? Big Mistake! And yes I'm a Genesis/Megadrive fanboy so screw the SNES, oh btw. I'm talking about the old Sonic or classic Sonic:

How can you not like him, he is cool and fast and blue unlike a certain plumber.

Sonic >>>>>> Mario, I don't care about sales figures and such. Sonic's great (as long as you keep the weird Sonic fans and their "OC"s out of the equation).
I don't understand how 90% of 100% of everyone thinks Pokémon is some kind of be all end all. Yes, when I was 10 and played the first game I thought it was great.
But now? Every re-release is basically "same shit, different continent".
I feel like I'm re-running the same thing with a different skin (a la CoD syndrome).
Not to mention any kind of story depth is kind of thrown to the wind in order to keep it accessible to the younger generations. Speaking to 50 different people and have them all blabber on about Pokémon in the same way as a deranged One Direction fangirl would blabber about Harry Styles is... almost disturbing.
In fairness, I'm one of these grotz that thinks of Planescape Torment as the be all end all. None of these naff JRPGs or Skyrim. Opinionated to the core, I suppose!

I think we went off topic somewhere along the line.

I agree.
We can still talk about videogames, but in the meantime post some of your schemes because
1) I wish to see them.
2) So Mods don't lock this thread. This is a nice thread.
Do you like mines?

I usually switch between them to be more tematic with the map.
I use Space Marine too, but with them i use Iron Hands.
Iron Hands are awesome.

Mario "just runs and collects coins", if we're generalising.

Does Sonic eat mushrooms? I don't think so.

Sonic is a hedgehog right? Right. Therefor he eats mushrooms, since hedgehogs are omnivores.

This leads to one conclusion, hedgehogs are cute, sleezy, italian plumbers are not.

Oh so for example if I wanted to do a swap of the Dark Angels DLC to a black templar look I could use the stock black templar badge? How would I do that? (sorry for the newbish questions)

In the defaultchaptercolours file it would name "SM_Dark_Angels" as their badge, right under the colour sceme entry.
You would have to replace it with "SM_Black_Templars" most likely.
