This is a wild idea but I was in class the other day, day-dreaming about seeing a Deamon prince in the game.

We already have the blood sacrifice animation that could be used in it's summoning.
All we need is a re-skinned and re-skized Aspiring Champion model with deamon bits. and I think we would have ourselves an awesome addition to the game.( Maybe even take the model and voicelines from the campaign... you know... from the Kyras deamon prince model at the end of the campaign.)

Also, I think the Chaos sorcerer could use a distinct troop choice to make him more tzeench. After all, the CL can summon blood letters, and the PC can summon chosen plague marine. By god the Chaos sorc needs some love too.
Horrors can be re-skinned and re-sized termagaunts limited to 4 or 5 models. Considering that the horrors have mostly a body of fleshy mass. Making the model should be easy i think....
These models would animate like the termagaunts, but would fire doombolts or flames from "let the galaxy burn".

Sorry for my rant, I just wanted to put my thoughts out there in case it may someday happen.

I think its a shame that so few people out there would want to work on a daemon prince.

We allready got half the model, I think it would be very much possible to scale it over a re-sized (Lightning Claws )Terminator or maybe Nob / Warboss skeleton.

The way I'd like to see it is similar to the Terminator Armour upgrade of the Force Commander.

You basically switch out your Hero for a powerful almost-superunit that cant level.

Maybe in a future we could have a Slaanesh champion with a Daemonnettes call-in. We already have their models, so...

I don't ask for Daemonettes, Keeper of Secrets, etc.

I just hope one day to have Marks of Slaanesh on some units.

I like the sound of a Daemon Prince myself, but might be hard to balance

As for the Horror Squad, the Sorcerer/librarian's animations are ethereal and witchy enough, just need a model to fit them in

Yeah - uses the Aspiring Champion animations - I believe there's a scaled up version too - but no pic of it as would require a bit of coding to get ingame - this one is just a simple model swap.

Daemon prince is like my fav thing about chaos and seeing this post and that pic gives me hope that we could have it in the mod 1 day. Could it be a upgrade for the chaos lord like for terminator Armour is for the FC? just a idea of course.

And people already complain about the "Skill Lord" being over powered. This adds a new flavour to the mix.

We used to talk about this and we said it would be unbalanced and not-fitting for a deamon prince. Dawn of war 2 is not avaible for that idea. Sorry

Look, everyone loves Deamon Princes, no one can say; "No thanks, I'm happy with my power armor." But if we start to talk about abilitys and balance deatils, we will just eat each other.

I would have to agree, but you never know, we might some twists and turns. It's just so hard to have a model available and not want to use it.

Quick question why does the semi demon have a sword twice his size instead of a bloodletter sword?
